Fusing foxgloves

I love the work of local artisan Emma Britton who designs and produces bespoke glass panels, splashbacks, artwork and furniture.

Her designs are painted by hand,  captured digitally and encased between toughened glass. She also works on commision to produce bespoke painted and fused peices, plus she can encase other designs too.

Her splashbacks offer a practical alternative to the more conventional glass over wallpaper technique which is often not completely moisture proof.

She also produces furniture in conjunction with  local, furniture designer, Jack Mathieson. This coffee table is made from polished birch plywood and etched in a lace influenced design.

All images thanks to Emma Britton.
